Creating Safe Schools Overview
Creating and sustaining safe school environments takes more than casually wanting to make changes.  Pulse Integration works on many levels, from the basics of creating awareness to intricate strategies for implementing and sustaining change.  A few of the many topics our workshops focus on are positive role modeling, recognizing words as weapons, identifying the many faces of bully behavior, common traits of school shooters, personal accountability and administrative, staff and student strategies for effectively implementing a "safe school" culture.  Working with K-12 superintendents, youth service directors, principals, all school staff, students and parents,  we are committed to helping our youths and their mentors shape a positive future.

Teacher Training and Educational Conferences
Pulse Integration realizes that each school is as unique as its staff and students.  Our teacher programs span a wide breath of offerings.  From stress relieving rhythm events and conversations on diversity issues to the many strategies for creating and sustaining a safe and supportive school culture.  These workshops also explore building cohesiveness, synergy and team empowerment.  Taking the time to mindfully look at and understand these issues, will help your staff implement positive change that will reach far beyond the "band-aid" effect.

Parental Involvement
Parents are an integral link in creating, sustaining and re-enforcing a schools goals.  Pulse Integration offers many programs geared towards working with parents on issues such as positive role modeling, bullying, diversity issues and overviews of what an emotionally safe education system could look like.

"At-risk" Populations and Specialty Schools
Children with exceptional challenges often struggle to understand how they fit in.  Starting with themselves, they discover commonalities with others.  This opens the door to sharing their feelings more freely with compassion for themselves and their peers.  These enrichment programs are designed to build self-esteem, positive character development and camaraderie.

Diversity Conversations in Education Settings

From peer pressure to dealing with racism and sexism and sexual orientation, students and faculty alike face a variety of issues that will influence their ability to be positive role models.  By taking the time to discover our perceptions, biases, emotions, acceptance of diversity, compassion and intuition, we are taking healthy steps in truly creating a positive school culture.

Corporations and Organizations
Our corporate programs are designed to touch on the human potentials that are present in a structured environment.  Recognizing our differences and personal values enhances our ability to communicate effectively and to be truly heard by others.  Through our individuality, we contribute to the positive outcome of the whole.  Business associates and customers take notice when these attributes are present in an organization.  People are naturally drawn to companies that exude positive employee relationships.

Community Conversations on Diversity
This is an engaging program designed to bring diversity awareness to a public audience.  As in most of our programs, we engage the participants in deep community building through rhythm, evoking immediate unity and fun.  Once we have gained an awareness of our similarities and differences, the door has been opened to create conversations with a heightened sense of respect and compassion.  At this point we create conversations an topics ranging from the basics of general perceptions and bias's to core issues of racism, sexism and sexual orientation.

"John's presentation was given the highest rating by participants and staff at our state-wide convention this year.  His approach cut through traditional perspectives and rhetoric, and exposed the truths behind many of the problems endemic in our schools - and provided real and practical solutions."
